How can a teenager earn some money without getting a job? -

I want to get a dog but my parents aren t sure because of financial reasons. Im prepared to earn some money to help them out but i don t know what i could do other than get a job. I really want a dog so i ll do pretty much anythin.________-Paper Round -Walk other peoples dogs... -Mow someones Lawn -Wash someones car -Pocket money? :P -Rob the bank lol -Do a sponsorship (Run around the estate or something) good luck________If your parents aren t sure about getting a dog because of financial reasons, then I m afraid they are right not to get a dog. Dogs are expensive to keep. Apart from food, there are vaccination bills, flea and worm treatments, and if they are ill they will cost a great deal of money in medication and vet bills. And all dogs need a vet at least once per year. Have you thought about getting a hamster instead. I know they are not the same as a dog but they are still lovely and a lot cheaper to keep. When you are older and have your own flat/house, and are earning a good wage, you can then buy a dog. Best Wishes.________I take it you mean without getting a quot;formalquot; job. There are many things you can do, like already mentioned, from paper rounds, mowing lawns, sweeping leaves, washing cars, all sorts of informal tasks. You ll have to do SOMETHING to earn the money you want. Do be sure, though, to think about everything owning a dog involves, you ll have to look after it, feed it, clean up after it, take it for walks in all weathers, pay vets bills etc for the rest of its life, which can be many, many years. I must say that your parents are probably right, at the moment. If you really love dogs, why not offer to walk friends and neighbours dogs?________You could offer a dog walking service locally or baby sit @ weekends. You could wash cars or get up at 5am to help market stalls set up. However dogs cost a lot long term so you will need a regular income so sorry a job really is the only way. the lifetime cost of owning a dog bought in 2007 stands at just under £9,000, whilst the corresponding figure for a cat is just over £7,200. The average annual cost of owning a dog today is currently £502 but this could increase to as much as £921 in 12 years time, which is the average life expectancy of a dog. The cost goes up by 5% each year.________I ll assume by a quot;jobquot; you mean goverment recognized work. Otherwise this question wouldn t make sense. And probably something steady that you need to keep certain times of your schedule open for. Try childcare. You could get a summer nanny position which won t be too much work and it would be over soon. You could still do fun things like be outside, go to the pool, or park, watch TV, etc. If that s too much of a commitment you could just pick up babysitting jobs. Advertise around town. Have your parents tell their friends at work who have kids, and have them post something in their break room. Also, you could try house cleaning, lawn mowing, pet care, errand running (if you re old enough to drive). Advertise locally. And always be safe about things. A job will give you something to do with all your spare time, and you ll grow to like keeping busy and occupied. You ll learn valuable info about many areas- people, business, customer service, saving money, budgeting, etc. That all might sound boring but trust me it s not bad if you like what you do. Making your own money will feel liberating and you ll be proud. You ll need to have a job to get through life, so welcome to the world.________well i would say that you should get a job but u don t have to get a quot;realquot; job. talk to some people that you know that have kids and say to them that you can babysit sometime if they need you, or since you like animals you can dog sit. maybe you could start walking peoples dogs or washing them. there r many things you can do to earn some money without getting a quot;realquot; job but in order to get money for a dog your going to have to work doing something________I would suggest trying to get some jobs dog walking or pet sitting. This would allow you to spend time with some dogs while you are earning money for your own pet. It will let you become more aware of what type dog would be a good match for you. You could also use the time with other people s dogs to verify to your parents that you would be a responsible pet owner. If they see that you are reliable and that you understand that owning a dog requires commitment, they might be happier about letting you have one. Good luck in your quest.________I have a plan that will help both issue s! How bout dog walking in your area? Post little leaflets round yopur neighbourhood and ask if anyone wants a dog walker? That way you ll even show your parents your that determind and then they may give in, earlier than you think! Plus you ll have more experience with walking dogs! Bingo! (Excuse the pun!) :)________It depends on how old you are. If you are 17 you can get a job at most work places. You can also babysit, dog sit or walk dogs. Even try bathing dogs or scooping poop up from yards? Mow lawns, wash cars......if you want a dog and want to earn the money you will figure out how!________erm, how else do you expect to get money without a job, a job is a term for a thing which you do which results in earning money, otherwise you re just begging or stealing from people. You re not smart enough to own a dog sorry.________sell stuff you dont want anymore on ebay or have a car boot sale. Bake cakes, help out around the house, do good at school and ask your parents to reward you. Do a sponsored run or something, give half to charity and half to you.________If you are to idle to get a job you are probally to idle to exercise the dog.I wouldn t bother. Not fair on the dog or your parents who will probally end up looking after it anyway.________Why dont you do some choirs around the house for extra money or for Family and friends ect. Or Look for a small job for your self. I work for Avon which is just handing out Books around ur neighbours pick them up then order the orders.________If you want to quot;earnquot; money you have to work. If you don t fancy going into town to work ask your parents if they will pay you to do housework.________Well, maybe you should just make your parents understand how responsible you can be just around the house, and soon enough, you ll have yourself a new dog!________Well, save begging, all you could do is get a job. No one is going to give you money without you working for it.________Tell your parents the dog you`re getting can sing and ride a bicycle and would contribute to the household finances by entertaining people.________hm...you could help out with chores around the house and ask for a little bit of money at a time you could do paper rounds in the morning from your local news agency..________A job is the only way - otherwise we d all be rich and not working wouldn t we?________You could put up and advert abou dog sitting________Bookies.________Go puppysit. You lll earn money and get use to watching a puppy.________babysitting? or hmmm well thats about it really if you want money you have to earn it like the rest of us.________Begging________Doesn t quot;earnquot; imply working?________if u dont want 2 wrk 4 ya cash then theres nothin u can do. just keep goin on n on n on at ya parents till they say yeah!!________do chors________1) find a millionaire 2) put on some ragged clothes 3) rub mud on ur face 4) and beg ... good luck________work online.. its easy
