How can earn money from drawing? -

I draw mainly manga. Currently working on a book. I enjoy what i do but I was wondering if there is any way I could make a living from it. I simply want to know the kind of jobs or businesses I could do with my skills and talent. If there is a certain way of making a huge amount of money from it then no matter how big the task Im willing to at least know. Thanks in advance...________be an animator for some big cartoon company________www.deviantart.com lt;-- you can setup a prints account to sell some of your artwork; once you get a good base of clients, you could make a decent amount of money (if you re good enough)________Become an illustrator. Most of the big publishing houses look for talented illustrators, jus send in some coloured samples.________Help an oldie...what s manga?________Outside of magazines and possibly rubber stamp designs, Manga characters have a small niche market and you ll be hard pressed to make much money on it. The Artist Market 2008 book has listings of what publishers, book and magazine editors, etc. are looking for, it s a good way to start finding some work. Heck, check out the local papers around your city. I emailed our local dog magazine s editor asking if he d be interested in dog paper dolls, and he said to send some art, then bought two of the three for $50 each! I was just expecting to do it for free, to get something to add to my resume, but the checks were certainly nice! All they can do is say yes or no . Don t be afraid to ask.________Drawing money out of bank accounts can be profitable so long as they are not your own.________no real ideas but just for a laugh my sister had a job many years ago drawing false teeth!!!!!!________Animators... or... selling your artwork to authors... or making comics and publishing them.________It s possible to make a living drawing manga in America. Unfortunately, you get **** pay. You are paid enough that you could live but really there isn t much you could do with the amount you are getting paid. There are many companies that publish manga but there is only one company that you can work for where you d actually get enough money to live. This company is tokyopop. But yeah I can only think of Seven Seas, but there really is a lot of american manga publishing companies now. It s just really hard to make a living doing it.________If you are professional, you can be a manga-ka (manga artist) and publish your books to make money. If your book is successful, you might have toys, apparel, and other merchandise made from it. You can even have your manga made into an anime series or drama, of course, that would be pretty hard since there are so many people who are good at drawing. If you just want to make some money out if it, you can have commissions online, like on www.deviantart.com for example. (A commission is basically when someone pays you to draw something for them.) If you can CG (draw digitally), you can also print your own artbook and sell it. There are so many people in the arts industries who draw manga so getting people to notice you first is the big step.________Artist to artist, Manga isn t really the best thing to invest into unless you truly believe that you re the person that will start a golden era for anime and mange like how marvel and American comics had. Honestly, I love drawing Manga and would love drawing it for a career but in reality the pay wouldn t meet all a person living needs. Manga would be the best thing for teenagers who are still growing and can change their style of drawing into a more realistic looking style. I m still young and looking for a break so I can at least start young to see if I ll make it in the drawing business.________get some books of magna, comics or magazines and look for the producers name, search their name on the internet which they will have a site on and they will show you where you can send your articals________what about expanding your artistic talent???
